Over the past 10 years, Footy Addicts has become the UK’s go-to platform for casual football players and organisers. Our football community grows daily, giving you better access to more players.
For example, if you organise a weekly 5-a-side with your mates and need 2 extra players, you can simply:
- Create a game (Public or Private)
- Ask your current players to download the app and join the game
- The community can then take any remaining spots
We strongly recommend using our online payment system to take payments to get the most reliable players. When you set up a game you can either collect cash from the players at the pitch or take online payments.
A player must pay before booking their spot if you take payments online.
Footy Addicts do weekly payouts every Monday. All you have to do is email us your preferred payment details. The transaction fee (including payment gateway) currently charges 4.3% + 20p to process online payments.
You can add the venue yourself, via ‘start a game’. Type the venue name and when it doesn’t appear, click “add new venue” and fill out the details.
If there is an issue with adding a venue, it might already be there but under a different name . In this case, simply drop us a line at [email protected] with the details and we will add it for you. If you can provide a picture of the pitch, your game description will look more attractive for potential players.
We provide a simple 1-tap process for players outside Footy Addicts to join your game. You can also share the game link directly with your players to sign up with a few simple clicks.

Join us if you are looking to play casual football in (your area). This social game is open to players of all skills and abilities.
Game details. Read carefully 👇
Meeting Point: Meet next to the pitch (pitch number)
Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before kick-off.
Duration: 1-hour slot. Brief intros, team selections, and we’ll kick off.
Game On: (minimum number of players) players, the game will be on. The organiser will cancel the session if not enough in and issue a refund.
Attitude: We promote a friendly atmosphere – no shouting or aggressive behaviour. Respect venue staff and follow their instructions.
Attendance: If you can’t make it, ensure you remove your name from the list ASAP. No spot selling/trading allowed!
Refunds 💸
Guarantee a full refund as credit in your wallet when you honour the game’s refund policy (check before booking).

How we play ⚽
Goalkeeping: Everyone goes in goal. Rotation every (number) minutes.
Game Rules: Normal 11-a-side rules, no offsides. No slide tackles allowed.
Vibe: Encourage and support all players. Keep everybody involved in the game.
Game Host: We play with no referee. Respect and honesty are key.
Equipment: It never hurts to have an extra ball, bring one if you can.

Once you have posted the game, it will be open to our football community, so you will have access to more players. You can set your game as private initially, before opening up any available spots to the wider community.

Our journey started with wanting to play football and not knowing enough people. We experienced first hand the struggle to find games and the pain of the organiser. Since day one, we’ve listened to players feedback and built a bespoke platform for all organisers needs.
